Can the land be restored?

Almost any land can, even ground left bare by mining or overgrazing, with managed animals. See the TED talk by Alejandro Carrillo, one of our management partners.

How many animals can it carry?

In most cases we can double the number of animals at the same maintenance cost, and restoration accelerates with them.

Is there water?

A source that exists, or can be installed at sensible cost, reaching every paddock.

Land due diligence and ownership.

Title, water rights, community rights and foreign-ownership rules, cleared before a franc moves.

Is a practitioner already there?

No property is admitted without a named, contracted manager who knows the land and the regulators.

Is carbon a bonus, not the case?

We model it at zero. If it comes, it is welcome.
